Frequently Asked

Questions

How do I get started?

If you know what you need, you can go to the Pricing page and purchase a Basic Cut, Multi-Song Mix, or Studio Package. If your specific need doesn’t fall into any of those categories you can email us, or fill out the message form on the Home page to see if we can help you with your unique situation.

What if I’m not happy with my edit?

We’re not happy until you’re happy. We will do our best to get your cut right the first time. But sometimes you make a mistake and you write down the wrong edit times, or sometimes we make a mistake and there’s a gap or stutter where it shouldn’t be. It’s all good, nobody is perfect, but at Choreo Cut we try to make sure your edits are as near perfect as possible. If you are unhappy with the edit you receive back, just let us know and we will revise your edit and send it back to you. If we can not come to an understanding, you will not be charged for your edit. Please do not abuse this.

What kind of extra fees could I expect?

All fees and additional costs, including GST and the cost of purchasing the song on iTunes is included in the price. (All prices are in Canadian Dollars).

Please refer to our Pricing page to see what is included in each purchase. If your needs fall outside of what is included, then we will try to come up with a reasonable price for your request. Each request is specific to each individual, so it is impossible to come up with a price for every possible scenario. Just send us a message and describe what you need done so that we can try to provide you with affordable, quality service.

Can you remove words from a song?

Maybe, maybe not. We do not have the ability to completely make a song instrumental. We are working with the stereo tracks of the song, the same tracks you would buy if you purchased a song on iTunes. We do not have the ability to remove individual instruments, beats or vocals from a song. In order to do that, we would need access to the unmixed tracks of every song, which we don’t have access to.

What we can do is replace certain words with other words from elsewhere in the song, we can also reverse a word, in order to mask it without missing a beat. We can also add sound effects or hits to mask a certain word or phrase. Removing choice words can be difficult and comes with its own unique challenge in each situation. Sometimes results are mixed and we will do our best to make you happy, but please keep in mind that this is audio editing, not magic.
