What is a Basic Cut?
A Basic Cut consists of a single song being edited to a certain length and given some basic treatments like fade outs, fade ins, hits to end the song quickly, one or two words replaced or removed, speed reduced, etc.
Example of a basic edit:
“I would like to use Poker Face by Lady Gaga for our dance routine. The song is 3:57, but we are only allowed to have a song maximum length of 2:30. Could you please cut 1:21-2:17, 2:58-3:30, and fade out a bit sooner so that we are under 2:30 total time. Also, “muffin” is too suggestive, could you do something about that? And lastly, could you slow it down by 3%?”
What is included in a Basic Cut:
Includes a reasonable amount of edits in a single song (4-5 edits max)
Fade In, Fade Out, or some sort of simple ending (Reverb tail, Crash Cymbal, Boom…)
Change of speed faster or slower
1-3 explicit word replacements
Any other extra requests may come with a small extra fee
All fees and additional costs, including GST and the cost of purchasing the song on iTunes is included in the price. (All prices are in Canadian Dollars)

Multi-Song Mix

What is a Multi-Song Mix?
Multi-Song Mixes are typically used for hip hop dance routines, or other performance pieces that need the energy to shift a few times throughout the choreography. They include a few clips from multiple songs and often have some transitions added like hits, sirens or reverb tails, to add to the vibe of the piece and help transition to the next section.
What is included in a Multi-Song Mix:
Includes combining up to 4 songs, with transitions, edits, and splices
Fade In, Fade Out, or some sort of simple ending (Reverb tail, Crash Cymbal, Boom…)
Change of speed faster or slower
1-3 explicit word replacements
Any other extra requests may come with a small extra fee
All fees and additional costs, including GST and the cost of purchasing the songs on iTunes is included in the price (All prices are in Canadian Dollars)

Do you own a studio that will require a lot of editing each year? Purchasing a package deal could be the right move for you. Save 10% when you pre-pay for 50 basic Cuts or more.
Everyone’s needs are different and sometimes one song is all that is required. For others, like the dance studios that we partner with, we will edit 100-150 songs per year, or even more. If you expect to need many cuts over the next year, (or multiple years), buying a Studio Packaged could save you money and time. The credit will never expire and you won’t need to deal with a pile of invoices and receipts. Just pay once and let us take the headache of editing off of your shoulders.

Rush Editing
$10 incl gst
In a hurry? You need your editing in a Rush?
It happens to us all sometimes. You forgot to get your editing done in time and now you’re down to the wire. Get your edits pushed to the front of the queue and returned to you in under 48 hours. Simply request that your song be “Rush Edited” when you contact us.
What is included with Rush Editing:
One Basic Cut or Multi-Song Mix delivered, complete, in under 48 hours
High quality (320 kbps) MP3’s with your final edited song, emailed to you within 2 days
Please Note:
This is an additional charge that is applied to each individual song you want rushed. There is a $10 fee for each song you want rushed. (ex. $30/Basic Cut, $50/Multi-Song Mix)
Because you are in a rush, you need to be organized. We can’t do a job quickly if you aren’t sure of what you need. Communicate your needs clearly to us and we will do everything in our power to get you what you need as quickly as possible
